The nay-sayers in their ignorance say the previous issues didn't do postal duty in Tuva. Patently false...but the Soviets didn't send enough of the issues to Tuva (no doubt greedy for the hard currency of the stamp dealers). Again in early 1935 the Tuvan post had to resort to surcharging a less-needed denomination of stamp on hand in Tuva for their postal needs. |
